Is it “collectible”….or “collectable”? I always thought it was “collectible” and did a double-take when I saw a shop using the word “collectable”. I wanted to go in and say, “ummm, your sign guy misspelled a word…did you get a discount?” But (as it so happens every now and then), I was wrong. Either spelling is considered correct. Unless, of course, you happen to collect tables…for which you’d need a big house. So if it’s spelt (or is it “spelled”?) with an “A” or with an “I”, it all depends on what “U” want to collect….
