Now that the Government of Canada has decided to stop making pennies, I hear
from people that want to sell me their pennies ....sometimes for the price of a nickel. Since you're not going to get rich selling a hoard of pennies
from 2005, what can you do with the little copper coins?...(actually they're
copper-plated steel). Donations to charities are always a good idea...you
could make a floor out of pennies (I wonder how much a square foot would
cost?)....remember playing "penny hockey" in the school cafeteria?.....or, do
what I did, buy a bubble gum machine that takes pennies....you're only a kid
once....but you can make the feeling last forever....
